One of the commonly expressed concerns of residents is speeding traffic.
Evidence shows that speeds in excess of 20mph present a danger to pedestrians and cyclists.
Despite a lack of action by Worcestershire County Council and The Police, efforts continue to persuade them to introduce more 20mph zones.
Several years ago, Malvern Hills Green Party ran a very effective campaign to issue residents with large ‘20’s Plenty’ wheelie bin stickers. A great, informal reminder to motorists to keep their speed down.
The good news is that we have purchased fresh supplies.
Our focus at this stage is on the West Malvern and Dysons areas of Malvern. For residents in these areas we will be happy to deliver a sticker to your door, in return for a small voluntary donation (the stickers cost £1 each).
