Natalie McVey

District Councillor West ward, County Councillor Malvern Trinity

Natalie was first elected as Malvern Hills District Councillor for West Ward in 2017 and lives in Malvern with her cats.

From 2019-2024 she held the post of MHDC Portfolio Holder with responsibility for Housing and Health, a huge and varied portfolio covering homelessness, domestic violence, poverty alleviation and refugees.

In 2022 she was elected as Deputy Leader of Malvern Hills District Council, a role that she was proud to hold until November 2024. She is now Leader of the opposition.

Natalie is also Worcestershire County Councillor for Trinity Division, having been elected in 2021. She is seeking re-election in May 2025.

Natalie works for national charity Garden Organic as Community Engagement Officer advising on waste reduction and as a counter assistant in a community pharmacy in Malvern Link.

Natalie also regularly volunteers at community lunches and other events and is also a West Mercia Women’s Aid ‘Ask Me’ Community Ambassador.

She is passionate about equality, animal welfare, environmental protection, and is often seen whizzing about on her e-bike.
