Jules Wood

District Councillor, Upper Howsell.

Jules was originally elected to represent Dyson Perrins ward in 2019, but due to local government boundary changes,  now represents the new ward of Upper Howsell. Jules has lived in Malvern for over 30 years and lives in north Malvern with her husband and  2 cats. Jules loves the challenges that being a councillor involves. She is not new to local government though, having previously worked in local government for 36 years.  The natural and built environment, and the quality of the landscape have always been important to Jules and one of her goals is to achieve better design in planning....design that has the environment, nature, and health & well being at its heart. Jules is Chair of Southern Area Planning Committee and is Leader of the Greens on Malvern Hills District Council. Jules volunteers for the National Trust at Croome and at Worcester Cathedral.
