It was standing room only at Malvern Library on Saturday 14th October as 70 local children - supported by their parents, grandparents, and siblings - gathered to celebrate completing the challenge of reading six books over the summer holidays.
Malvern Link Councillor and district council Young Person's Champion Fran Victory was in attendance alongside several members of Malvern Town Women's football team to present medals to all the children. Library staff and volunteers also shared readings at the event.
For children who've caught the reading bug, Malvern Library are running a Family Reading Café every other Saturday at 2pm. Avid young readers aged 7-11 (and their parents!) are all welcome.
